Dues Renewal
TutorialRenewal of your membership/subscription is due on March 1 of every year. Below are instructions to renew your membership.
Members will receive an automated subscription renewal reminder via email on March 1 of every year. Unpaid memberships will be placed on hold as of March 1, until payment is received. If payment is not made by May 1, your membership may expire, and a new application would be required to reapply.
How to Renew
Step-By-Step TutorialLog in
Visit one of the following places on dogwriters.org:
- Click the "Log in" button at top of any page on our website. If you see “Member Area” instead of the “Join” and “Log in” buttons, you are already logged in. In this case, click “Member Area” to visit your dashboard.
- Or choose from the menu Membership > Member Area
- Or visit the direct link: dogwriters.org/my-account
Log in with your email associated with your DWAA membership. If you forgot your password, click the "Lost your password?" link for help resetting your password.
Choose Subscriptions from the Dashboard
Once logged in, you'll see the member area, also known as the dashboard.
From the menu options, choose "Subscriptions"
Renew Now
Here, you will see your type of membership, the yearly fee, and your next payment date.
To renew your membership, click the "Renew Now" button.
Note the next payment date of March 1. If payment is not made on or before that date, your membership will be on hold until we receive your payment. Memberships will be officially expired if payment is not received by May 1.
After completing checkout, you’ll see the “Order received” page and a similar email receipt will be sent to you.
You can visit the Member Area Dashboard again, if you wish. You’ll now see that your next payment date has been moved up a year.
Note that if you pay by check, we need to receive your check before this will be reflected.
Choose to toggle auto renew on or off. Leave it on if you wish to auto renew your membership in the coming years, to the credit card on file. Turn off auto renew if you prefer to manually renew, and return every year to make your payment.
