We have some exciting news for you fiction writers!

DWAA will now be accepting flash (very short) fiction entries for our blog. Flash fiction is a popular genre, known for the ability to express emotions in just a few short words, or paragraphs. A  famous example by Hemmingway: “For sale. Baby Shoes. Never worn.”

Entries must be a firm 200 words MAX, including title, and your WORDS, not photos, must tell a story. There must be a dog in the story.

This is a great way to get your fiction published for both your resumé and as a piece to enter in next year’s writing contest.

Submissions are now being accepted. At the beginning, please put your name with titles, address, phone and email for the editor’s use only. At the end, please put down whatever contact information you wish the public to have. If you would like an example, please see the blog. We will post the first one there.

Send entries to Anne Marie Duquette at [email protected]. Please put “Flash Fiction” in the header.  For internet security reasons, your email will NOT be opened without it.
