We made the shift to digital entries because almost every book, self-published or otherwise, is available in digital form. Using digital copies saves time and postage for you, the entrant, and DWAA when distributing the book to judges. IF you are unsure how to submit a digital copy of a hardcover or paperback book, you can follow these steps:
- If you used something similar to KDP (Amazon’s self-publishing platform) there is a “how to” on the site to help you download your book in digital form.
- If you worked with a traditional publisher, ask them for a digital copy. We have not run into a publisher that isn’t willing to help promote their products.
